And oh we love plants, so we took ourselves down to the Barbican Conservatory for a green-fingered afternoon out.
Love or hate the Barbican Centre, I think we can all agree it's a bloomin' nightmare to navigate.
Once you've found your way to the conservatory, my you're in for a leafy treat. It is vast (23,000 sq feet people!) and the species are endless, currently housing over 2000 varieties of plants and trees.
Open on Sundays and Bank Hol Mondays, with an afternoon tea TO DIE FOR, you can get woozy on champers and pass out on the bus home and dream of a glass heaven filled with the most impressive cacti you'll see outside of Arizona.
